Welcome to this month's edition of Spike in Cebu
Something a little different this month,I will talk of why we all come here to Cebu and what to do when we get here,last months edition had some nice places to visit
Lets face it most come here to meet women,to date or marry.Well why not? The filipina is mostly a lovely person,beautiful,caring,willing to learn,and genuinly interested in us as a person,if we are 30 or 70 they still love us to death,its truely paradise here for the single guy.
I have met over 100 women here mostly over a meal, from 18 to 45,women from all walks of life and living situations.I would also say that I have chatted to over 1000 Filipinas in my 3 years here.I have found some life long friends,also many who are only interested in getting something for nothing.
So where to take your lovely when you find one?
A new place to meet is the new green area out the back of Ayala Mall,lots of coffee shops to sit and admire the view,myself I like dinner then the movies,after that a romantic night at home.If thats not your taste then there is the disco with lots of noise and smoke and many female sweaty bodies on the dance floor..hmmmm not for you?
How about a night at the Casino,most girls here have never been in one,a real eye opener for your date.
You would be suprised how many girls want to go to a bikini bar too. They are just curious to see what actually goes on and hey what about the new sky experience adventures..http://www.skyexperienceadventure.com/home...WoW thats going to be exciting life time memory for your date,make sure you bring your camera and send us some pics here.
Do you like go- carts,you can race them for 8 laps in Mandaue ,make sure your date can drive.
Christmas and new year is comming so pick a high spot to enjoy the fireworks displays...a awsome site,but cameras do not really capture the moment. We can't forget the most important of all,Sinulog in January,the city is in fiesta mode for two weeks,parades and shows very colorful.
Make sure you book your room early as the City fills up quick. If you get desperate my lounge is available for 5,000 a night, lol,seriously book early so not to be dissapointed.
Places to eat, most hotels have their own restaurants,Kiwi Lodge has some of the best food in town and a great menu.
Badgers,Sandtrap,Koko's nest,and Our place have good food also.
There are regular foreigner hangouts,Ayala Mall is full of good places to eat, my advice is to go out to the back section for good dining.
The old favourites are here also, McDonalds,KFC,Pizza Hut and many more if you feel the need for something familiar.
What ever reason that you come to the Philippines for,enjoy have fun,make some friends but keep a low profile and try to not go out alone,Cebu has a lot to offer,many more things than mentioned here and you can find them if you look for it.
